I was so gloomy this morning 'cause I had to go to the groomers! I was making so much noise. But it was inevitable I suppose.

Around 2.30pm or so, while pacing around at the groomers, waiting for Au Yong to take me home, I had a couple of suprise visitors! G and JD came to see me! How sweet. Better yet, they took me home! No G didn't drive. All three of us hopped on to JD's bike and rode home! How cool is that!

I was so stoked. I kept paddling my legs in the wind, enjoying the breeze! You cannot imagine my excitement.

I wanna do it again!

We got broken into and all our furniture was stolen!!! I was locked up in Jilly's room whilte the burglers came in! As soon as G rescued me, I was in shock. I ran around the whole place barking and whining at the loss. I got so upset I jumped up onto the coffee table which I've never done before and was complaining away!

Much later did I realise that G got some guys to pick the sofa's up to get them reupholstered...whew!

It's My Birthday Today!

I woke up to little kisses by G this morning. I opened my eyes, rolled onto my back with my tongue sticking out, enjoying the little kisses on my tummy. It was a nice lazy morning, till I got scooped up and was brought straight into the bathroom. I don't like bath times! But after the bath I felt great!

G lovingly changed me into my new T-shirt that mommy and daddy got me for my birthday. It says "I'm a Hooligan!", I wanna say that it is not true but alas...it is! ha ha ha

I wonder what is in store for me today?

Marie had seen a picture of one of the dogs that was captured on film during one of G's trip to Rempang, and found it to be adorable.

Me being not that tech savvy, had trouble getting a clip off the CD they had. So I did the next best thing. I got G to hold the video cam over the PC while I played the clip. The sound effects of machine guns and grenades were lost...but I guess you get the gist of it.

Stomper & Chutney's 1st Birthday Party

I got invited to a birthday party! My first ever. I knew something was up, when G came home with loads of goodies and didn't give me any. She put it all in this basket and placed the hamper far from my reach.

Everyday, I would go and sit below it and whimper. I think they got irritated at it, cause one day it was gone...I think G hid it from my view and scent!

Saturday afternoon, I got all dressed up and eagerly ran out of the door. I jumped into G's car and excitedly anticipated all the goodies I was gonna get. Muahaha.

As soon as I arrived, I was shocked to see so many dogs there. I got a little scared, but I obviously didn't show it. I used my grumpy dog tactic to hide my fear. It was so fun getting to know all of them! I kinda liked one of them...heard the humans call her Stomper...but she must have a boyfriend...that fella Chutney came getting in my way. Later heard it was her brother. Wish I had a little brother...sigh.

I wasn't really hungry cause mommy fed me in the morning, but as soon as that spaghetti and meatballs came, I wolved most of it down, but left some of the pasta aside...i was so bloated. Soon came dessert, but I was so full I let G have it.

I met Brandi and Casey. They were the first ones I got comfortable with. I wanted to get to know Stomper better...wanted to try out my "How You doing" move with her, but Chutney kept protecting her....I gonna get G to arrange something one of these days. The last one I met was Copper...he was a boxer puppy...but boy was he huge!

I kept barking at him and telling him to behave...afterall I'm older right? Gotta let the youngsters know where their place is.

After having so much fun, I got a little tired...I'm not as young as I used to be. When I got home, all I wanted to do was sleep. And sleep I did...for most of the weekend.

G bought me this huge smoked bone that I started to tear into immediately after I got it. I guess my family thinks it's hilarious to see me struggling with that damn thing!

I keep lugging up the sofa to chew on it, only for it to drop and I have to go pick it up again. This can go on over and over again. Till I decided to just chew on it on the floor!

Dogs' Lives

A veterinarian was called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife, Lisa, and their little boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

The vet examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. He told the family he couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As they made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told the vet they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

During the procedure, Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that one might wonder if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.

The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. They sat together for a while after Belker's death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.

Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, "I know why."

Startled, they all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned everyone.

He said, "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life, like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?"

The six-year-old continued, "Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long."

I love that jd and g came home! So far, everyday I've been down for walks! Yipee. The bestest of the best was on Sunday! I went with jd and g to East Coast. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun!

The guys carried me most of the way there and back. But while we were at the park, I was skipping along and frolicking in the sand! I got to swim a little, which I felt was better than the other few time I got thrown into the sea. This time round, I actually enjoyed it a little. I got showered off and soon when to the Lagoon to have my dinner and let my pets have theirs.

As the sun was slowly setting, we headed back. Along the way, I grew tired, and had to stop my humans to get them to carry me.

I had a wonderful day! Thanks guys!

My darling G and Jd are back!!! I missed them so much!!! As they walked through the door, i was estatatically wagging my tail and jumping for joy!

Jd picked me up and gave me such a big hug...I thought he was squeezing the life out of me!

As the guys unpacked, I hung around to sniff each and every item they got out...trying to figure out which one was mine. I hung around close to G and Jd, just incase they wanted to leave again. But the sweethearts did not.

Barking does not always get you what you want

This morning I found myself in the room with G sleeping soundly with the pillow on her face and the door closed. I needed to get out of the room stat, cause I smelt daddy's cheese sandwich and know if I give him my big brown eyes sorrowful look, he'd give me some.

I figured that if I barked, it would scare the little angel sleeping, so I decided to wake her up lovingly by wiggling my way under the pillow and kissing her. The log moved slightly but patted me off. I paused to think. Then made my way to the other end to again, dig my face under her pillow and kiss her again.

This time it worked!!! Good o' G, I know I can alway depend on her, she gets up and let's me out to cheese sandwich heaven!!!

I slept in with daddy today...woke up a little around 12.30 in the afternoon. As I trotted sleepily into the kitchen, I was scooped up by G and held like a baby for a good long time. I happily snuggled and rested my head on a shoulders.

After a while, G put me down and asked me if I wanted to go for a walk, cause she wasn't sure if I was awake enough to go. Of course I was ready!!! Geeezzz.

So G buckled me up into my harness, and we took a good long walk round the park. It was a beautiful Sunday morning!! oopss I mean afternoon.

After our walk, me being muddy from frolicking in the grass was whisked into the bathroom, where G lovingly washed the dirt away. After I was cleaned, mommy gave me to eat my "sausage" lunch with I Looovvvveeeee!!!

G was sitting on the bench reading a mag, when I reached out for her to pick me up. She did, and I gave her a kiss on her cheek to say thank you and then merrily skipped off to do mischeif!!

...cause G came home with loads of goodies for me yesterday!!! First was two sample of new treats available...both were fish treats...ewww. One as the shop owner predicted, I didn't like, the other was only o.k...wasn't very excited about it.

Next she bought a top up of my favourite lamp stick treats @ S$6 a packet! Tee hee hee....I got fitted with my new T-shirt, which I can get into, but it falls kinda funny, but the colour suits me so perfectly. I gave G my, it's o.k lick.

Then whoa....you should have seen my new dog food!!! It came in the form of a very large sausage kind of packaging and it is so yummylious! I wolfed it down in 30 seconds flat!!!

Then I got a raw-hide treat with goodies inside!

After all that treats, I snuggled up the whole evening to night with G!

"Scruffy!" I heard my name called. I walked into the room and saw G holding up a new shirt for me for Christmas! It looked soooo good I scampered in to try it on...sigh...unfortunately it did not fit. I liked it very much though. Then I caught sight of my other Christmas pressie...and I jumped for joy...but naughty G wrapped it in brown paper and tied a ribbon on it. It is kept in my Christmas stocking till Christmas....guess I'll just have to wait.

I went in to get the growth on my snout snipped at long last!!! Mommy and daddy was so sweet....Audrey had wanted to send me home, but they took the trouble to come pick me up! I was so touched.

I wondered why the night before, I spent the whole time begging for food and didn't get any? Normally my family are very obedient this way. The moment I give them "the pitiful look", or whine...they give...(whatever they're eating also!! muah ha ha)

It was relatively a simple day-op and I was feeling o.k..except I was super duper hungry. Got home, I gobbled up my food and drank lots of water. But it was so cool to lap up all the attention.

Kept giving my family the sorrowful look...all day long I got my biscuits, my carrots, my meats, my bacon and 2 bowls of my dry food. All day long, I got carried, kissed and snuggled. I must go for more of this operations I tell you.

Topped the night with trying to get Daddy's attention, but he was glued to his soccer. I don't know if it was the op or what...but I was so tired. I wanted to sleep but guessed it was early cause nobody was anywhere near getting ready for bed.

Turned out that it was late!!!! It was 4am in the morning before anyone turned in...and all the time it felt that it was around 12!!!

Today when I woke up, I found G sleeping on the couch after Jd had chased her out with his snoring. In my sleepy state, I was thrilled that she was there. While the words "Noooo" formed in JDs voice box, I had already jumped up and G sensing me had already curled up in the semi-fetal position, living me just enough room to fit snugly between her heart and tummy.

We spent the good part of the morning, moving in tandem to obtain the optimal position for each of us to snuggle and dream. But before long, I started to get territorial. I wanted my usual extreme left side of the couch, where G normally curls her legs so that I get to sleep there. I knew her legs were getting cramped but I didn't want to move. So shortly, G moved her legs above me to rest it on the arms of the sofa, but I didn't like it, so I jumped off the sofa giving her a dirty look.

It wasn't long before I came back to apologise and I missed her warmth. So as she lay sleeping, I slowly kissed her nose to signal her to move in a little, then went back up on the couch. I don't know what it is about G, but I always get a good sleep curled up beside her. G told me I might have been dreaming, cause I twitched my head in my sleep, stuck my tongue out and woke up suddenly a couple of times. Hope it was a good dream...really can't remember much

My favourite toy in the whole wide world is my stinky, almost blackie, rubber duckie! My family has bought me so many different kinds of rubber ducky...I like them all, but I love my old friend the bestest!!!!

So much so, when I was going to sleep with G & Joshie the other day, they were wondering why I didn't jump straight onto the bed, but scampered outside. Shortly, with my "best friend" in my mouth, I slowly and sleepily I might add, got into bed and curled around my rubber ducky.

I waited all day for my family to come home. I watched as the sun set, worried that they lost their way. By the time mommy came home, I realised that they were out having fun, so I lost it and decided to show them how angry I was.

Although my paper was there, I peed and shat on all three kitchen rugs and made sure there was enough pee left in me to leave a huge puddle in the middle. That will show them.

My big brother, sis and G came home after midnight. By that time, as usual, I was so thrilled to see them, I put all things aside and happily greeted them.

JD cleaned up his room yesterday. The full works!! Dusted, changed the bedsheets, mopped the floor, etc...After he finished, I was tasked to inspect the place. I came in, sniffed every corner then proceeded to inspect the bed, sniffed a little and finally had to do the ultimate test...I went on and proceeded to fall asleep....Test results : Spotless!!

My mommy was eating ice-cream in front of the t.v. while I was having my afternoon nap with daddy in the bedroom. My mommy kept knocking her iced-solid ice-cream, which I mistook for someone at the door. I got up all grumpy and ran to protectively bark at the intruder...when I found out it was mommy...I barked at her scoldingly and went back into the room. Geezzz!!!

At about 7ish, Jilly and G had cravings for some meat pies, so they decided to take a drive to go find some and I decided to tag along. They drove over to several gas stations and one of them was Caltex which has the US bakery, so we stopped it for a while. I met three friends there and decided to mark my territory with huge piles of shit and pee...muah ha ha!!! And while G, Jill and the shop owner hurriedly cleaned up after me, my three friends decided to re-mark over my marking...muah ha hahhahah!!! It was hilarious!!!!

Was so lonely when the guys left for Chevy's I told mommy I would wait up for them. They got back at 4 bloody am in the morning....but was so happy to see them, my irritation was forgotten instantly!

Due to my past experiences of having long walks with G, with my whole body aching after that, she thought up of bagging me!!! LOL...I really appreciate it though. After I get my fair share of fresh air and exercise, she'll scoop me up and bag me and lug me the remainder of the way! Of course there are looks of disbelief from people around us thinking we are crazy...but hey....SAVE THE DOG!!!

My Birthday Celebration!

Although my birthday falls on 25th July 2007, my family decided to celebrate it a little earlier on Sunday instead. It caught me totally off guard, I was so surprised! G bought me a chocolate vanila cake with my favourite rubber ducky toy on top! Awww....Daddy & Mommy bought me a food placemat, meatloaf and lamb pizza! I'm such a lucky boy! When the guys gathered in the kitchen and sang me my birthday song, I hid under the table, I was so shy...and overwhelmed with emotion! I turn 5 on Wednesday! Goodness I'm so old! G came back home specially on Wednesday to bring me for a walk...awww...I watched anticipatedly while she packed a green Cold Storage shopping bag, with my treats, my water bottle, my poop bag and my dinner. I got all excited!

Soon enough we were off. As I merrily skipped through the grass, a sudden burst of pain shot through my paw! I yelped loudly! G started laughing and saying "silly boy, that is a mimosa plant!"...yeah I thought like I was suppose to know.

About 9 piles of poop later...(yes 9...what can I tell you...I'm full of shit), we were close to the Telecom building along East Coast Road, when G knowing that I was feeling a little tired, stooped down and picked me up. She gently put me into the shopping bag! I was a little nervous at first, but soon enough I was enjoying the breeze and the scenery from the comfort of MY bag!

We walked all the way to Mandarin Gardens where we met Anita at Tom's apartment. I was my usual busybody self, inspecting every aspect of the house. Then we went down to the Taipan restaurant to buy food for G and Anita, and made our way to Colin's house for dinner.

As I entered the apartment, Sparky the four month old Golden Retriever came out to greet us, I grit my teeth and snarled...I didn't like this bouncy, silky haired golden boy! I made sure he knew it too! I sent him running with his tail between his legs! I guess you could say it was funny seeing my tiny little frame matching up to this Herculean (at least from my point of view). I'm sure he meant well, but I was in no mood.

Shortly after, we got back home, where just before I slept, I made sure I went up to G and gave her a kiss of thanks. Yup that's me...super sweet

G & Josh brought me for a long walk yesterday! I was so happy! I met two new friends, La la and Ki Ki! Kevin was so nice (the human), he was so spritely!

As G & Josh sat down to give me some water, they noticed a girl with her dog in a distance (the shot I took not so good, it was too far). Josh commented that that was silky terrier's were supposed to look like. He told G "That is how Scruffy should look like!"

Ummmffff....and I barked "That's how G is suppose to look like too!" (talking about the owner) Sorry G.

Well anyzhowz, I got back home, Josh gave me a shower, and I was dead to the world!

Grooming Wooming

Went to the groomers on Saturday, I returned looking so handsome and smelled so good, it just made my whole day. Only thing I was super worn out. After coming home, had a pee, ate a little something something then plopped down and was knocked out most of the time.

The next day, I was so confused, thought I was going to the groomers again, cause the family were all up pretty early. So I was barking and whinning the whole morning. What a waste of my melodic voice.

Jilly and Mitch brought me down for a walk yesterday evening! I was so happy! I was giddy with happiness when I got up, and was acting silly running around the house, I finally went into Josh's room to settle down on his bed, when out of nowhere a hand appeared....and I "yelped" like a girl! I scooted away to see what it was, it was G! She reached out to pat me. I blushing left the room.

I had got shaved again! Damn it! Was looking forward to my long silky coat again, unfortunately my skin problems acted up again. I overheard G's friend giving advice on how to clear up my skin problems:

a) only dry food (no more of my gourmet meals....urgggh)
b) dog treats are ok (whew!)
c) blow dry after every bath (ummm spa...not bad)

Had a crappy weekend! I mean really crappy...went to the groomers on Sat, was kinda of glad they didn't cut my fur, I want to grow it out. In the evening, G was on the pc, my mommy was out "swimming", daddy was at work, Joshie was out with the boys, Jilly was out with the boys and I was stuck at home "alone" again! Sunday morning, I got up really late...*wry grin*, but usual evening, G was on the pc, my mommy was out "swimming, daddy was at a jam session, Joshie was sleeping, Jilly was sleeping and I was pissed!!!

When daddy got home, he called out to me..but I showed him....I totally ignored him. When he finally found me, I just gave THE look. A little later on, I was grumbling...I mean literally grumbling...I was making all the funny noises. I was walking here and there...grumbling. Let's see what happens next weekend!

G & Josh ordered Mac's yesterday and they had the audicity to eat the wonderful creations on my sofa! Of course, I had to stake claim on my sofa, so I positioned myself nicely aimed at the burgers...and waited.....and waited....and waited....my eyes never leaving the prize. Patience would pay off.......Then my mommy called me...I turned, thought for a while...turned back to look at the prize again....then mommy called, this time I jumped off the sofa and ran in the kitchen...cause my mommy would feed me...not those two...*huh!* I came screeching to a halt as I heard that dreadful phrase "who do this???? why you pee here??.....ran back to the sofa, but it was too late, the prize had been consumed. I give up!!!

On Sat, G & Josh were watching t.v, mommy and her family were "dry-swimming" and my only hope for company, daddy, was in the bedroom. So I went in to be with him, and lo-and behold he had someone else in his arms!!!! I barked and I barked and I barked!!! I went C R AZEEEEE!!! As I squinted my eyes a little more, I realised he was holding his guitar, still it set me off....I should be the first priority in his life! Then maybe mommy, then the rest....but nooooo he had to bring THAT THING into our lives!

Anyway, you know why I love daddy sooooo much???? Cause he knew that I was upset, he put TT (that thing can't evey bear to write the name out *disgusted snort*) aside and carried me for a good half hour :) I LOVE MY DADDY!

Jill Is Back!

Ohhh my Jilly baby is back!!! I heard the door, guessed it was G coming home to "eat snake" again! Didn't really bother, till I heard a very familiar voice outside. I took a peek, but couldn't believe my eyes! It was Jill! I was in shock so I ran inside. Was so shocked, a little pee escaped.

Jill thought that I'd forgotten her, but it's really cause I was in disbelief and plus I didn't really get much sleep last night. But when she showed me my present, I became my old self again.

Josh was serious about getting me a sibling, he went all the way to Cherating to find 'em! Unfortunately, it was a little difficult getting them back on the Harley! Shucks! My bro and G returned from their Cherating trip! I was overjoyed! They were pooped when they got back, I tried to restrain myself from jumping all over them, to give them some time to catch their breathe.

G spent the day with me and told me all about their trip. How they ate at an aptly named sea food restaraunt called Can't forget Seafood restaraunt, went horseback riding, climbed countless steps at the Caves to see the reclining Budha, played with a monkey called Boy boy and they even released 2 day old turtles into the sea!

It touched me so much when G told me how Josh was missing me so much, he started calling out for me. "Buddy Boy! Where Scruff where?" Awwwwww.........

Now waiting for my baby sister to come home.

I know my family only wants to help me stop biting, so they put on that stupid shade thing on me! But I've found a way to get to my paws muah ha ha ha.....but then evil G saw it, and put a stop to it, and I went ballistic! The demon growl I gave her with the high pitch yapping would turn any normal human being's blood cold...but not G...I always knew she was abnormal!!!!

Anyway, we fought and I stopped talking to her for a while, but you know how I am...short term anger. Made up before we went to bed.

Saturday morning, G and Josh left early to visit her mommy, my mommy went to visit her mommy, my daddy stayed at home to watch football. I spent the day with my face to the ground *sigh*. When G got back about 7ish I thought I was saved from my boredom, but alas she had stuff to do. So when my mommy got back about 9ish I thought surely someone would pay some attention.

As it turned out, the two girls spent all night and morning I might add watching Prison Break Season 2 till 8.30am! Well at least I got to spend the night with them...with my face on the bed *chuckle*

I've been having sleepless nights. Take yesterday for example. I went in with Mommy to sleep on my King bed, but got up and sniffed the doors so that mommy would let me out to join G to watch T.V. This has been going on for several nights now.

Hee hee....When my family leaves for work/school, I get tucked in...give them a sorrowful look to say I'll miss them...but as soon as they are gone...I'm studying several languages! I may be a Taiwanese dog living with my Eurasian family...but I speak fluent dog, understand english, mandarin, f-language and am now currently understanding a little Swedish.
